The Pigeon Must Not Get Wet

In the above video I attempted to make a physics-based game in Pygame, but it went horrible wrong.

The game was supposed to have the player balance an umbrella on a pigeon's head, protecting it from the rain. Instead, I ended up having the pigeon run frantically across the screen whilst the player shields it using the mouse.

Here are the assets and source code. Maybe you can fix the game up or make something better.
